Configuring the Call4tel 3CX SBC Failover

SBC failover configures a backup SBC to keep remote phones connected to the PBX if the primary SBC goes offline. Configure the primary device first, then the secondary, and confirm both can ping each other before proceeding.

  1. Access the Call4tel portal and go to the Settings page.
  2. Select "SBC Failover" and click Change.
  3. Enter SBC credentials (Authentication ID, URL, SIP/Tunnel ports) and mark the device Primary or Secondary.
  4. Select a matching static IP interface and enter IP, netmask, and gateway for each device.
  5. Set a Failover Timeout (in seconds), then click Confirm.
