Configuring a Singtel SIP Trunk with the NX-32

Singtel is Asia's leading communications group, headquartered in Singapore. Using their SIP trunk with 3CX requires a dedicated NX-32 network card routing traffic between the 3CX server and Singtel's servers. Requires 3CX version 15.5 or later, plus DIDs, SIP server IP, and WAN IP from Singtel.

  1. Use the NX-32's second network card (LAN) for Singtel traffic exclusively; configure WAN with standard network settings.
  2. Configure the LAN interface with the Singtel-provided WAN IP address.
  3. Add static routes through the SIP Connect tab to ensure proper traffic routing.
  4. In the 3CX Management Console, go to SIP Trunks > Add SIP Trunk, select country SG and provider SingTel.
  5. Enter one DID number in Main Trunk No, and the Singtel SIP server IP in the Registrar field (General tab).
  6. Enter the Singtel WAN IP under Options > Advanced.
  7. Add the remaining DIDs under the DIDs tab in National Number format.
  8. Create inbound rules for call routing, and configure outbound caller ID (limited to your associated DIDs).
